Experience of work#1

Since I'm not working during this uncannily long post-exam holidays, I've recently agreed to help out my mom with her work.

Well, today's my real "first" day given work to do. The task given by my mom was to clear out all of those old files and organise them into a new and bigger file(s).

What to say? The work was easy but quite tedious in a sense. I've got to clear out all the old files and arrange them in an alphabetical order. After that I've got to copy each of the old files' particulars and arrange all of them in the new one.

It took me about 2 hours just to finish up and organise the old files and compile them up into a single Creditor's file.

Can't write much, I'm going to continue my work with the debtors file......

A bit of Disappointment

What I found the next morning can be described by no other word except "DISAPPOINTING"!!!

What I originally imagined of a scene where most of the people I see that day would be wearing black clothing turned out to be literally no-one actually bothered to wear any black clothes.

This silent protest has failed......

Its very disappointing where the spectacle you've expected to happen turned out the exact opposite of what it should be. No-one actually heeded the black attire protest at all!

The sad part is not even the street protesters visible in front of the High Court and behind the Perak Darul Ridzual Building bothered to dress in black. The unity in showing our thoughts are similar in rejecting the take-over by BN cannot be depicted in such a sad scene.

No wonder BN scoffs at any "said" attemps to take-over the country by the opposition. The issue right now is the people who have chosen the opposition as the Goverment of Perak are not united enough in showing what they think.

Most people still hangs on the mindset "Aiya why bother, I can't make much of a difference by myself, if I don't do it, others will".

Helooooo???!!! Knock knock!

Its the damn 21st century!!! People should stand up or their rights and defend their thoughts!

Sigh.......

Lets hope we all would be more united in the future in defending our thoughts. Lets show others our vigour and spirit!!!

Black-The Death of Democracy in the state of Perak

Well, well. I guess most people who follow up the national news knows that Perak State has recently fallen in the clutches of BN ( for foreign readers, BN is the Federal Goverment party).

I'm sure many of you out there have received either text messages or e-mail asking everyone to wear black on 10th February (tomorrow) in support of the opposition and also to mourn the death of democracy in Perak. It is also said to be a symbol in criticising the Perak Sultan in choosing the option of NOT having a re-election after three Pakatan members jumped-ship (rumoured to have been bribed to do so).

Anyway, whatever "rumoured" to have happened is none of my business. Personally I think having this kind of siltent protest is a good way of showing how the people feel without resorting to violent demonstration or extreme ways of protests.

I reckon we'll not only be seeing plenty of black dressed civilians grouped together at a certain shouting slogans and protests but being plain as day walking down the street, grocery shopping in Tesco or even chatting with colleagues in the school staff rooms.

It'll be quite a sight when most of Perak residents donn their respective black garments be it exquisite tailor-made tuxedos or the most plain T-shirt with a mickey mouse in white silloute printed at the back of it. I hope no other demonstrations except the silent one is carried out tomorrow. Perakians tend to be a peace and loving community and riots are not a common sight for the past 51 years.

Let us all hope no-one gets hurt in the effort of protesting tomorrow as it is alread a sad enough day when Perak has lost its democracy.

Hi There

Hello there. This is my first blog post. (sounds cheesy) Haha. Nevertheless, I'm determine to keep it as a diary.

Being 18 isn't what everyone thinks its cut out to be. I too have my worries and unpleasant experiences. Having less than the average medium to express myself, I've decided I'd start a blog myself depicting most of my joy and sorrows here (sounds corny even to myself!). Haha.

Anyhow, it's a start. Feel free to leave any comments. I hope you'd enjoy my future posts!
